No two floors from Junckers are alike. When chosing from our wide range of wood species and qualities it is also a choice of style and feeling.

Junckers strip boards and wide boards are available in a wide range of beautiful wood species each with their own characteristics - in both light and dark colours ranging from a natural to a more rustic appearance. And you can choose between lacquered, oiled or untreated surfaces.

Junckers has been recognized by a number of Indoor Environment Associations including being awarded a Healty Indoor Climate Certification by the Danish Technological Instistute and a Seal of Approval from the British Allergy Foundation.

Representation
Junckers Industrier A/S is the largest producer of solid hardwood flooring in Europe. Exports amount to two third of the total turnover and Junckers has their own subsidiary companies in Europe and North - and in addition is represented by a network of agents and distributors all over the world.

Installation
In every building project - either designing a new building or a refurbishing an existing one - many flooring challenges become apparent: The height of the room must never be compromised; The new floor must adapt to the sub-floor rather than require costly adjustment; and installation must be fast and easy. Additionally it should be able to meet various technical demands, such as hiding cables and pipes under the floor.

This is where the value of a well-designed floor becomes clear. And that's why - thanks to three different installation options - Junckers floors overcome these challenges.

The Product
The range of Junckers 100% solid hardwood floors features a fine selection including ash, merbau, sycamore, oak, jatoba and uniquely, press-dried beech. In short, a range of colours, from light pale to dark brown. Our woods must meet two overall criteria: 1) beautiful colours and grain pattens only possible with real solid floors and 2) long-term stability and durabilty.

Most of our woods are available in two designs: wood strip floorboards, and wide boards. This makes it possible to create almost any visual expression - and at the samt time get the full benefits of a structural floorboard in terms of unsurpassed functionality.

To produce the wood strip floorboards, the hand-sorted staves are assembled using a double dovetail joint. This unique feature, demonstrating a wealth of knowledge and true craftsmanship, remains the only method in our experience that ensures stability even under high stress and seasonal climatic changes.

All our floorboards are pre-finished in our factory with an oil or polyurethane seal especially developed and made by Junckers, according to specific wood characteristics and to meet the needs of the finished floor. The extra time that we put into the sealing process produces a perfect, durable and uniquely smooth finish unlike UV finishes seen on most other floorboards.

Junckers floorboards are available in several thicknesses with a maximum of 22 millimetres, offering a diversity of sizes to meet any requirement. All the boards are made in a range of grades to reflect the true nature of real wood.
