Atkinson and Kirby
A dynamic British company founded in 1903, we moved to our current site in 1926. We are proud to have joined  the family owned Richard Burbidge Group in April 2002 operating successfully as a stand alone division. Under its new ownership A & K is planning further investments to keep it firmly established as one of Britain's biggest and best flooring companies.

Location
We are located on an eight-acre site five minutes walk from the centre of Ormskirk in Lancashire in the North West of England. Our location gives us easy access to the port of Liverpool and to the nationwide motorway system.

Site
We have in excess of 45,000 sq ft. of production space and over 70,000 sq ft. of finished goods warehousing. Our kilns and heating system for our factory are totally self sufficient by recycling production waste from our mill. A continual investment program in plant and machinery ensures that we meet all current EEC legislation.

Customers
These are the most important people to us, without them we do not exist. We supply Flooring Contractors, Builders Merchants, Developers and the High Street. We also work very closely with Architects, Specifiers etc., to ensure that we can give them the advice they need when planning a new building.
